So here's the story. I first noticed this little leopard gecko in a tank at P**c* about two or three weeks ago. She was pretty distinctive, with the whole "not-having-a-tail" thing. I kept an eye on her, and wanted to take her home, though I didn't have a spare tank at the time. Today, I went into the store to get some crickets for Garrus (my bearded dragon). This little one had lost weight, and was lying lethargically with her front feet in the water bowl. I called a salesperson over, took her out of the tank, argued the price down to less than half (they wouldn't just give her to me), and took her home. I named her Shiagur, after the Krogan warlord (from the video game Mass Effect), because she still has some fight left in her. :)

As you can see, she's just skin and bones. I can see her spine, and her legs have very little fat or muscle. She's been lapping up the Repta-Aid that I have been mixing for her, which is good. She's actually starting to show some attitude, now that she has some food in her belly!

Good news! Shiagur made it through the night. She guzzled down 0.2 cc's of Repta-aid this morning. I would give her more, but I am trying to avoid re-feeding syndrome. Her feces and urates from last night were very runny and worried me, but the feces from this morning are much more solid. As of right now, she is asleep with her front feet in the water dish. I am trying to keep her cage warmer than usual, because of how sick she is. Does 80 F on the cool side and 95f under her warm hide sound okay?
