Sorry for the repost crossed over from another thread, but I couldn't resist showing him off some more. I rescued this handsome little man from someone I knew that had 5 geckos in a tank and was wondering why he was mean....Lol I think I've already caught the gecko flu...This is me and the mean, mean gecko haha

Yea he's a natural born mealworm killer lol. He didn't have any type of heat in his last enclosure so he's just living the dream now.

I finally got "him" still long enough to snap a picture. Im guessing by the bulge at the base of the tail that he is in fact a male?

your pictures are very blurry but it does look like a male.
females have been known to have bulges too but if there is a clear pheromonal pore line (which i cant really tell for sure from the pic) then it is defo a male.

I agree he looks male. Looks like he may have abit of stuck shed on his belly. I'd give him a good soak in 90 degree water and make sure you have a good vitamin and calcium supplement and he should be good to go :)

That's exactly what it is. I cleaned him up and he had a defined pore line. I rescued him a few weeks back where he didn't have a heat source or moist hide so he's had a bit of a rough shed, but I took a warm q tip and got the little piece of shed off. I had to do it to his toes as well.
