I have a question! It might be a dumb question so bare with me here because I know nothing about leopard gecko genetics. But what classifies a Leo as a "carrottail"? The Leo in the first picture (sunflower het raptor boy) tail is almost completely orange, but he's not labeled as a carrottail, why is that? What classifies as a carrottail?

Thanks all! My goal was variety this season after making 40+ sunglows last year...haha. Lesson Learned! Can't wait to move forward with a few of them next season!

That first guy most definitely has a carrot tail but it's not part of his morph name. The only morph I think it's said with is SHTCTBs (or whatever variation of that you have) as that was one of the first morphs people were line breeding for and the various components were named. I think I've read in different places that a gecko has to have 15%+ or 30%+ solid unbroken orange starting from the base of their tail to be classified as a carrot tail. So the first three guys I pictured I'd probably say have carrot tails but the last three don't really. A lot of it is a matter of opinion :)
