Does the Mack bell enigma syndrome? It's a very beautiful gecko.

So far it does not. None of my enigma babies from this pairing have shown any syndrome last year or this year. Mom shows none, too. If she starts showing any, I would retire her.

Oh that is great. Do you keep her alone other than when she is with a male? I always loved the colors and patterns that enigma's have, but I've always been worried about getting one due to their genetic issues.

All my geckos are kept individually except when breeding and then they're only kept together for a very short amount of time. Enigmas are definitely not something for beginners at all. Most of them do have ES. And it's always possible for it to develop later on if they don't have it in the beginning. I'm still hoping that we'll find out what causes it and then we can maybe have a way to correct it, but I'm not sure that will ever happen. I work with very limited numbers that are fascio crosses. All the others ones I've had over the years have been sold to other breeders or as pet only geckos.
