Hi everyone,

I haven't posted on the forums in quite some while (my last post was like seven years ago…)
But I wanted to share my newest baby with you.
I nearly sold all my Geckos. I just kept my original wild caught pair. I got them 17 years ago (but as they are wild caughts I don't know their actual age, they might be even older…)
I had no intention breeding them but still keep them together because they lived as a pair as long as I have them.
The female keeps producing one or two clutches every year but I never incubated them.
When I went to Mexiko for four months to do part of my internship, my father took care of my two old geckos.
He incubated the eggs and one egg was fertile and it actually hatched a baby!
Pretty crazy that they are still able to produce offspring at an age of at least 17 years!

Everyone is welcome to post pictures of their old geckos ;-)
What's the oldest gecko that you ever bred successfully? How old is your oldest gecko?

Regards,
Johannes
