Couple of hold back raptors

Just fell in love with Delta and decided to hold her back in the hopes that she may turn out to be a male so I can pair her with my other raptors in the future.

For comparison this is her sister, Echo. [And yes, I also have a Charlie and Blue. Two were born the day before the movies release and two were born on the day of the release, all being a form of raptor and all sexed for female AND a week late, as if waiting for this momentous occasion so it was just much to perfect.]

This here is another I plan on keeping, whom I strongly suspect of being a super raptor now as I can see a bit of brown showing up. Unless she's just a really light T.E that's taking a long time to start showing color, which at this point I rather doubt.

Then there's this guy whom I'm considering holding back until I can be sure if Delta is %100 going to be a girl. If she indeed holds true to what she was temp sexed for then I'll have to most likely let her go and hold onto this guy instead.

Oh my goodness, that last one is gorgeous.

They're all gorgeous in their own right. Though him and Delta show a lot more orange than any of their siblings.

Wow the first one is crazy

Yeah she's a lot like her father, gorgeous little thing and I'm very excited to see how she turns out! Although I'm still strongly hoping she will be a male as I don't plan on having to many raptors so adding another female might be pushing it. Was hoping to focus more on total eclipses in the future.
If anything though I may just keep her and Hideyoshi, though then there's the problem of them being related so I likely shouldn't/wouldn't breed them. Ugh why did she have to be so dang pretty and sweet to bring me to such a tough decision?! D:
Might have to keep an eye out for an equally nice, unrelated male to buy/trade for to pair with the girls in the future.. Or just use my reverse snow raptor male but that might put a damper on the contrast.

Which just for the heck of it, here's the other two equally nice babes -

They're all gorgeous! It's so easy to get too many raptors.

Yeah they can so easily be spectacular. I had intended to breed less raptors if not let them all go entirely, but I was just to attached to my two gorgeous girls and now if I'm possibly going to have another gorgeous girl, I might as well continue breeding raptors or just have them as pets if not enough people show interest in them. Besides it's nice to have some color among all the black/white.

Might still let them all go though.. I'm quite on the fence about the subject since I love my raptor girls but I decided to focus more on snows/total eclipses.

Room is always an issue. But I like having that spot of color, and a lot of people tend to be very interested in the bright guys. I've been watching your Echo with envy for a long time!

Maybe reduce the amount that get bred for the season? That way you aren't overrun with raptor babies while doing the snows. (I hope Estrellian has babies next year, though. Very looking forward to what she can produce)

Yeah I actually have the largest room in the house and with all these racks I'm getting tight on space! Though having a couple of dressers I don't even really use cluttering up the room doesn't really help. Need to get the room better organized especially if I plan on adding another, special member to the family next year. Originally I was more interested in Echo and Eren but as time passed my attention has shifted to Delta[obviously since now I'm keeping her] and maybe Hideyoshi. Currently talking to a few other breeders as well to inquire as to if they have any nice looking raptors but pickings still seem to be rather slim. Got one bite but have not yet gotten them photos of what they have to offer.

Breeding less will certainly be done next year I can confirm that much and if I can get my hands on a male, she will likely be bred next year instead of Celossia if she's and or he are large enough. Though it's a pretty tough toss up seeing as Celossia has produced some killer babies and I can only imagine what she'd be able to produce if paired up with another raptor of striking color.
This year she'd been paired up with Merlin in the hopes of getting a killer looking dreamsicle but she only laid four eggs which popped out all snow raptors.. Quite disappointing and I may try again next year but I don't want to make a habit of breeding enigmas, even if he shows almost no syndrome.

Hoping to start breeding my TE girls next year if they manage to get their weight back. They're steadily getting there but they're two of my more picky eaters, strongly preferring crickets and may rarely accept dubias if using tongs to feed. Might breed one of them to Persian and breed another to Kelent to try and prove out for tremper, might breed the third to Persian as well depending on amount of open space or simply save her for the year after.

I've decided to hold onto Hideyoshi for now as well and I may very well be adding a new lad into the mix. It's a tough choice deciding which to use as the future breeding male.

Obviously the new guy would be the possible better option but it also somewhat depends on how Hideyoshi develops later on.
