Hi everyone,

just wanted to show off my three hatchlings from this season. I stopped breeding leopard geckos a few years ago and just kept my original pair of wildcaughts. Haven't incubated their eggs for some time. Last year they produced one healthy baby so I gave it another try this season and incubated two clutches. One egg didn't make it but the others gave me this three beautiful and strong wild caught F1 babies. Not bad for a pair that is at least 18 years old.

These pictures are from last week.
The last two are clutchmates that hatched two days apart from each other. But the last one did not absorb its yolk sack. I was worried if it would even survive but now it's doing great. Just a little behind sizewise. Crazy what a difference a yolk sack makes.

I will try to post some update pictures once in a while.

Regards,
Johannes

Here are the pictures of this week. Timespan between these pictures and the ones in the first post are about a week. All incubated for female but on the second clutch I increased the temperature after the first month. The effect can clearly be seen especially when comparing the one from the first clutch with the first hatchling of the second clutch. Although it's two weeks older and one shed in lead its bands are a lot darker and it still has less spots than its younger sister.
The smallest one has a good amount of yellow for a wild caught F1. Will be interesting to see if it keeps it.

Thank you for your nice comments!

Here come the updated pictures from this week.
The oldest one nearly looks the same. But again nice changes in the two younger ones that both shed a few days ago.

Here comes the last bunch of updated photos from this series. There is not that much change going on anyway. The oldest one seems to think she is a hardwickii. Still rockin' the banded look at two months of age. The lower incubation temperatures really brought out the dark colors. The younger sisters on the other hand are getting some good amount of spots already. The smallest one will stay with me a little longer, so I might post some more pictures of her. The others are moving now.
