Time to cut back on the mealworms?

I just noticed how big my boy's tail was. Squeak obviously isn't starved and he's eating at least seven or eight mealworms a day or other day. I've seen him eat 12 in a night.

Cut back on feeding or keep it the same?

Ignore the water dish, it was cleaned after the picture and it's getting replaced soon as I find something better.

I would feed him the same. I feel that you should let them eat until they are full. That is unless they are obese. Which you boy isn't. He looks like a healthy, happy, and well-fed gecko.

Rather than start a new thread I'll just ask in here. Is he a normal or a mack snow? I always took him for a normal since he was a pet store leo.

You can all him what you want. But if you decide to breed him you would have to know for sure what he is. In fact breeding him may be the only way to tell what he is. If he is a MS then half of his babies would be born black and white. If you bought him young describe what he looked like color wise ofcourse.

Squeak won't be a breeder and I don't have the time or money to breed. When he was young he had black and yellow bands like most normals. He grew fast so it's kind of hard to remember.

I just took one look at him and instantly thought mack snow because the yellow looks more like a faded, washed out type of yellow.. but it's true, the only way to prove what he is would be to breed him since he was from the pet store.. If he was black and yellow, then he is most likely a normal, but still a very gorgeous one at that :main_yes: :) :D
