I have been so busy the past 1-2 weeks, I'm surprised I have had ANY time to get pictures of these guys!
But I HAD TO clean enclosures today, so I took advantage.
Godzuki isn't pictured because he spazzed a bit when I tried to put him in the lightbox. He wasn't having it.
And Reckoner was shedding, so I didn't bother stressing her out.

But I got a few of Professor Orye, one of Isobel, and a couple of Piper.
No one really wanted to cooperate today, so it wasn't the best photoshoot on the planet.

Professor Orye:

My one and only shot of Isobel because it came out right the first time (thank GOD)!:main_laugh:

Piper wanted nothing to do with the lightbox either. She kept crawling towards me and up my hand and arm.

Thanks, everyone!!!!

Kristi, I can slow down anytime for a visit from you.
I'm mainly busy helping customers with collar designs, placing wholesale orders, taking care of the animals, and shipping orders.
AND trying to keep sane with all of that stuff on top of caring for my family.:main_laugh:

But I'd LOVE for you to come visit!
I need to get back into gecko mode!:D

Amazing pics, what cam do you use and whats this light box you mentioned?

Sorry, I forgot to answer this!

I use a Nikon D300 with a 60mm f2.8 macro AF-S lens attached, and my SB600 flash and a lumiquest soft box attached to that.

The photobox is easy.
Take a long, clear sterilite bin (about 2' in length by 1' wide), and place it long ways on its side.
Bow a piece of white or black poster board in it (I say bow because you do not want to bend it and get creases). Place your gecko in that.
Snap the picture and then do some minor post processing to the picture.
If you do not have a camera with an external flash, try using clip lamps (2-3) and put daylight bulbs in them.
Warning for the last suggestion: it will be bright, so your albino geckos might freak out a bit and try to run for cover with their eyes shut.:main_laugh:
