Nice normal. They are hard to find around. I have found Murphy Patternless
that is not het for anything else. I have been looking for normals and Blizzards for a while but have so far found none. They are het for this and that and are of no use when one should start up new projects. So congrats Robin.:main_thumbsup:

...Why is this a Sticky...??

lol.

Normals vary from one to the next. To say that this one is what a "REAL normal looks like" is kind of a joke, because one "old skool" original "Normal" is different from the next.

An "original" Normal from back in the day, that is het for nothing, does not have a set look that it "must" have... Thats why it is called "nature", because nature is diverse and can pick and choose which colors and patternings that it wants to create. I had normals years ago that were het for nothing, before all the morphs that we have now were out, and didn't look like this at all. So because it didn't look like this, then by your claim, that THIS gecko is what a REAL normals looks like, then what i had was not a normal...??

...And i can remember as a little kid, a friend of mine having a leopard gecko as a pet, and it wasn't as "solid" and heavy spotted as this one... and that was prolly around 1992, 1993...?

understood but did that gecko have any tan g influences in it or high yellow or hypo? thing is people think a tang influenced gecko with 15 spots and not super bright in color is a normal, which it is not. i am trying to show what an animal influenced by nothing looks like or can look like and also this is a very classic normal looking normal. sure they can have smaller and bigger spots, different color contrast etc. what people need to understand is that a low "grade" tang is not a normal. a high yellow (from tang lines) is not a normal or even a true high yellow. understand me?

I wouldn't really call a Normal "natural", as even they are not truly wild types, being hybrids between various subspecies.

So is a hi yellow not considered a normal??? This really sounds like a stupid question now that I type it out, but I have to ask it... lol.

the high yellow morph was a line bred trait and was the first "morph". the first genetic morph, which came after the high yellow was the patternless.

There is no reason to argue about this. If the off topic potshots at each other continue I will have to start giving infractions, and I really don't want to do that because I am actually enjoying my day. :main_yes:
