A quick little photo shoot

ok so i decided to build a photo shoot box that i saw on ball-pythons.net and take some pictures of the current group. tell me what you think....

They look photoshoped lol look like some decent geckos tho

no photoshop. just the light tent and various lights and either white or black poster board for back drops. i dont even know how to use photo shop. camera used was a nikon d70s with a 18-70mm lense.

Those are some nice geckos. Your lighting in the box needs to be brighter. The lighting looks as if its from a regular light bulb which would explain the orange tinge to some of the pics. Try to get a whiter light or a photo light. With that lens you should be able to get some awesome shots. I personally prefer to use my 50mm 1.4 or 24-70 lens for my Cannon 50D. All in all I think they look good for your first shoot in your homemade light box.

thanks for the comments, i only produced the normals so far, the rest have all been purchased. yeah the light box still needs a little work. i didnt get the glow i was hoping for, but the poster board curving up the back worked out good, kinda added a seamless effect to the background.

pic 3 is my little female SHTCTB that was born with a stubby tail that i picked up from kyle frost at the reptile shop in temecula ca, and the 4th pic is my female tremper sunglow enigma produced by dusty at creative gecko
