Here is the new gecko we have been working on for a couple of years. As they age the yellow will fill in on their head and intensify some. We also have the albino version we are calling the Sunrise which doesn't start off as nice as the Sunset but gets much better with age.

Thanks for looking-
Nick

Looks great!! :main_thumbsup: Now, if you could put snake eyes in this one... :main_yes: Do you have a picture of a Sunrise, too?

That's a very pretty gecko. I'd love to hear more about this project and see some more pictures.

Here is the background for this project. I started this by breeding my male Tangelo to a group of female midnight blizzards; at the time I thought it would be cool if I could replace the dark pigment with the tangerine from the tangelo. All of the F1 offspring were normal triple het for blizzard, albino, and tangerine. When I bred the F1 offspring to one another I got a wide variety of babies and kept the best male yellow blizzard to breed back to the F1's. Unfortunately as soon as I put him in with the females he got overly excited and everted his hemipenes and can't be with females now because of recurrence. Last year I produced a number of very nice offspring that are the parents of this years animals. In the pics below are a Sunburst (Tangerine), Sunrise (Tangerine Blazing Blizzard), and the Sunset (Tangerine Blizzard.

very nice line of blizzards there! I like the tang BB. From what I've seen, nobody has been producing that type of color on blizzards... Nice choice of combo names on them too! might actually be a new combo that would warrant a name like that. Good job!

Nick I think they look great! Kudos to you for line breeding like you have been! I was curious, where did your Tangelos originate?
