Have been impatiently waiting for some "new" Ghost stuff to arrive here @ Dragoon Gecko:
First half on the season was very quiet as we started out pretty late. Plus the Ghost offspring surely took their time to arrive;). Lost some clutches due to mold, and the first long awaited hatches from the project brought us happy and healthy "normal" ghost & non-ghost babys:).

And then those 2 hatched on the same day :smitten:..
Nr.1 - First "Albeys Linebred Snow Ghost (jungle) Raptor" (poss. Giant aswell, but time will tell ;))

And this little purple beauty should be the first "Albeys Linebred Snow Ghost Eclipse" (inc. female, poss. Giant):

Love the colours of both babys right out of the egg. I wonder how they look after the first sheds :)..
I really hope that with this new combination, we will be able by selective breeding to produce even better quality snow ghosts in future.

Congrats Rebecca they are beautiful. Keep us updated on the progress. Is there any chance that last one could be a Super Snow? Usually the Super Snows carry the black/grey tint all the way down the tail. I do see some yellow tubercles on it, I'm sure that is where the lavender is affecting the morph. Congrats again!

Thank you so very much Thad :)!! Btw The pairing was Albeys "pure" LBS het Raptor (from FallenAngelsGeckos) and a Giant Ghost het. Raptor I produced myself (and visible "non-snow" Ghost) . I do not cross linebred snows with Mack Snows at all, and always take great care to make sure I know the parents genetics (one of the reasons why I just started to breed linebred snows, as it was hard to get the hands on HQ genetics you can trust).

So no Mack Snow genes at all at work here :main_robin: ;). BTW I know from breeding Mack Snow Ghosts over the past years that the Super Snow Gene will always "cover" the ghost-gene (as written in my geckotime article). As it was incubated for female, maybe the low incubation temps. or the Ghost Gene itself play a part in here to its phenotype. I am pretty sure after a few sheds this one will become super light.
But as always, time will tell ;-).

Congrats, those girls are awesome. i really like the purple tone on the second one and know how hard it is to keep that past a couple of sheds, but good luck with it anyway. Finally chased down a Mack Snow Ghost to breed eventually, what do you recommend for a male? i Have several to chose from including a giant Mack Snow. Thanks for any help you can give me and Congrats again!!!
