I recently got this beautiful boy. He is an eclipse, but does he look albino too?

He looks like he could be a red stripe to me. The markings on his tail do look black, so I'm guessing not albino. He definitely looks to have a stripe, and I know the eclipse gene tends to wash color out, which would explain why he's not bright red like a lot of other red stripes.

Looks albino to me! He has the characteristic light background on the one eye I can see and the upper markings on his tail look like the faded albino colors. Albinism means lack of melanin which makes pigments look black but oddities do crop up from time to time or cameras make colors look a bit distorted.

Gorgeous gecko!

Impossible to tell which strain based on visual clues alone. To know for sure you'll have to test breed as he could be more than one at the same time or have hidden hets in his background. Best to admire him as a gorgeous pet if you don't know.

Black markings would be non albino. It actually looks like one of my eclipse. Patternless Stripe Eclipse.

This is an eclipse of mine (non albino).

And this is a patternless stripe (non albino). You can see the same stipe influence on yours.
