Starting up a breeding project, ideas for male?

I've owned leopard geckos for about 5yrs and have decided to take things to the next level and breed some next year.

I have recently purchased a high quality Tremper Sunglow female (Tremper Sunglow x APTOR) that I would like to use as the foundation female for my breeding project. I want to stay small and keep as few geckos as possible so I can properly care for the little ones so that means I would like to keep as few males as possible (one for now) and just collect more females as needed.

What would be a good morph choice for a male that I could breed with different types of females but still keep within the same general tremper genetic scheme? I was thinking another Tremper Sunglow? I could ideally then purchase a tremper snow (or MACK snow/super snow?), aptors, trempers, and maybe even a colorful bold stripe albino? I like the bright colored morphs and the pastel colored trempers (not the pastel morph but the color itself).

Thoughts? What would you get if you wanted a small breeding project with 2-3 different morphs from the same male?

Here's the female:

Since you have a Sunglow female, the male should also be a Sunglow if you want to preserve the best appearance of those traits (SHTCT). The male could certainly have additional genes, but if you get something that is missing the line-bred traits, it will dilute the appearance of the offspring.

indyana I was for sure thinking of keeping the base color bright but I was more thinking of Sunglow vs APTOR etc, they would ideally both throw bright colored babies but I would have more variety (some with spots on their head some without?) Do you think it would be better off to stay with a good Sunglow?. A male sunglow was my first choice though, that way I could just vary the females I obtain. All of the fancy names (and multiple names for the same genetic combination) are making it hard to figure out gene pools :(

I think it depends what patterns you want, honestly. Super Hypo and the Patternless Stripe are not compatible, so crossing them will most likely result in marked geckos, maybe with reduced spotting or jungle-type markings, and not patternless geckos. Also, you'll reduce the Carrot Tail unless the APTOR also has Carrot Tail.

I would pick another gecko with bright color and lots of CT. You could line breed to get the result you want. Depending on how long you're willing to wait and produce those animals will tell you what to buy. If you are ok with working on the project for years, you could start with a really nice SHTCTB (with lots of CT) het tremper. A good sunglow is always a nice pairing. Adding raptor to it is cool if you like that. I've seen some really nice sunglow raptors. Just figure out the look you want and you can work to make it happen over time.

I've seen some awesome super hypo eclipse and sunglow raptors, so they combine just fine genetically.

Super Hypo crossed to a Patternless Stripe would not result in patternless geckos normally the first generation though, right? Because separating the two traits out, you'd be crossing Patternless Stripe to a banded (under the Super Hypo) and Super Hypo to fully marked (if the gecko didn't happen to be displaying Patternless Stripe). Just want to make certain I'm thinking about this the right way...
