So I bought two red stripe leopard geckos being told one was male and one was female. They both ended up being males, besides red stripes what are some cool morphs it can be bred too? Otherwise, if you do not have a good answer for that question can someone tell me some good combos, Im looking for two geckos that can produce a new morph like two jungles producing a reverse stripe. Thank you!

In general, if you breed stripes to each other and sometimes even to non-stripes you get offspring on the whole continuum:

banded, aberrant, jungle, stripe, reverse stripe, patternless stripe

So, you can't go wrong. I would recommend getting a nice tangerine so your red stripes can get redder.

A nice tangerine or maybe a bold stripe would work well. It all depends on the look you want to achieve. Make sure you know if they are het for anything, too. They will often times be het for a strain of albino (usually rainwater, but not always).

There are many routes out there that can have positive out comes. I personally would take a Redstripe to a Lavender Stripe to enhance the lavender on the sides. Take the hold backs from that crossing then breed to W/Y. Take the best W/Y "lavender redstripe" back to the redstripe. Keep repeating the process from Redstripe to Lavender stripe to achieve desired look.

Just to have some fun with it I would toss in the Gem Snow gene as well.

To the OP, I'd agree with Retribution Reptiles: Lav stripe is the best way to go, then W/Y, maybe GEM Snow. Or replace the Lav Stripe with a W/Y Red Stripe if you can find one, then you'd have insane Red W/Y Stripes!

Just curious... is it possible that a Red Stripe would have no hets? I have a Red from TUG which they said has no known hets... I believe them but at the same time I also find it to be a bit odd since Kristi said they are usually het Rainwater/the 2 others... would suck if she turns out to be het Rain and I end up breeding her with a het tremp/visual tremp ect...

Please advise? Because now I have no idea what to breed her to lol
