Can anyone help me identify this gecko for me please?

So I recently bought this gecko at the reptile show in Pomona from yourgeckoguy. I bought it as a white and yellow raptor but when I search up online to see what it will look like when it's an adult, all the others look different and the eyes are actually black not red. I just want to confirm if it's really is a white and yellow raptor or not.

Actually it does look like a dark albino to me (and I love the markings). I posted a thread previously discussing how I had 2 albino eclipses that looked as if they had black eyes. Someone made the suggestion of shining a light off to the side to illuminate their eyes and the eyes were actually red. So, I'd say you probably have an albino eclipse. Technically I wouldn't call it a Raptor because the body at least is banded and not striped, but a lot of people are calling all albino eclipse "Raptors" so in that way it could qualify.

Thank you for the replies and your comments helps a lot. I got it from the owner of yourgeckoguy.com at the pomona reptile show. I actually tried to contact him a few times about the matter but he have not yet to reply and i doubt he ever will. I will test out the light thing later in the day when i get home. Thank you again

Yeah, in terms of being Tremper Eclipse, that's very much possible, but it's not a RAPTOR. W&Y? Highly doubtful. I mean, I know yourgeckoguy.com has great products and some neat looking geckos, but that doesn't mean he's going to be 100% truthful at a show, as he's there to get rid of animals. So I'd play your cards as her being a Tremper Eclipse, and if you happen to get W&Y, then there ya go.

I see this ever once in a while at reptile shows. Breeders will write w&y on animals even if there is only a touch of it in the breeder stock. It is simply done to move animals. There could possibly be w&y in there, he might just not be expressing it. When w&y are bred to non w&y only about 50% express the trait. I would bet money that he bred a Sunglow or raptor something along those lines to a w&y het eclipse. Anywho, it is deffinitely a nice looking gecko. I wouldn't mind getting one like that for my own collection!

I'm not seeing any W&Y expressed either. Could have W&Y in its lines somewhere but it isn't being shown in this particular guy.

As for the RAPTOR, a true RAPTORS is a patternless stripe so the pattern on this one would disqualify it among purists. I do know some people have called some patterned Tremper Albino Eclipses as Banded Raptors, so I guess that is a grey area (like Aliza said).

However, you have a gorgeous gecko there! I really, really like the pattern on it! Very nice! Good find! [emoji4]

This thread is a joke lol A eclipse Tremper never heard something so funny.
What do you think a raptor is ? It's a eclipse albino there for any eclipse Tremper is a Raptor. The fact that you never seen a raptor like this is a awesome it's my line lol. I made them this way. If your blood lines don't stand out from the normal looking stuff out there then it's nothing new. These are jungle markings and if you work with white and yellow you know that their bands will have funky patterns. These are 100% white n yellows. I don't have to to tell a story to sell my geckos. I breed thousands of them every year and have been captive breeding them for over a decade so I will try not to take it to seriously when people who do this as a part time hobby insult my business and integrity over a few hundred bucks. I have already offered a full refund as I keep a strick rule as I have always if your every unhappy with any of my geckos from now till forever it's a full refund !
I would much rather have them back then to see them go unappreciated by another.
Thank you to this wonderful forum for allowing Eclipse Trempers a chance to speak.

Quick question how do you think all these were made ? All stem from Eclipse with different strains of albino, add the snow gene and you can rename it.
Eclipse Las Vegas albinos aka Typhoon
Eclipse Bell albinos Aka Radar
Eclipse Tremper Albinos Aka Raptor
They are all eclipses. The eclipse gene it self has many different genes. Even the ringer in the super snow eclipse will show that there are different traits and variation in pattern. The blue spot gene is what causes the ringer in my option. I have see so many different kinds of eclipse but the Tremper eclipse is a Raptor no matter how dark the eyes or pattern. It's where you should understand the genetics of an species before you start to breed them. The White and yellow gene is a Dominant gene it's also a polygenetic I only work with the top 10% of white and yellow's I ever produced I would have to say that people can look at 100 of photos but if you don't know them then you will mistake them
Not carrying the trait or it gets over looked by other traits or really good bloodlines.
There are many good breeders on this forum and will also agree.

Ok trying to resolve this. Customer was offered full refund of price paid and I pay for shipping to get the geckos back home.
He then said no cause his projects are based of of these and now wants to keep them.
Instead wants a free White n Yellow Raptor shipped. In return would then remove this post and put a good guy one up instead.
Doesn't sound fair to the small business owner that try's and goes above and beyond to help someone and then gets blackmailed into a bad post.
This is a sellers bewear post not a buyers bewear.

The person who has posted this can still get a full refund I will pay for shipping.
Thank you
