The glow would be the addition of it being hypo which a Murphy patternless tends to do anyway.

And then this depends on the breeder, too. We've been seeing glow used a lot lately with no hypo (sunglow) or anything. Just the name for some reason.

I would definitely ask whichever breeder it is. That way you know exactly what the genetics of the animal are to be safe. Ask for baby pics, too. That can help. Most embers I've seen have been completely patternless while that animal above looks like a typical raptor with some reduced pattern.

Ember Glows are Ember X Sunglow, line bred. Embers+are+Murphy Patternless Albino,+TremperAlbino and Eclipse,+Sunglows+are+Tremper+Albinos.

That is what i got from the breeder also hopefully getting some hatchling pics soon.

It's either a visual ember or it's not. I would not trust that breeder if it was me. If it's an ember x sunglow, you are buying an animal that is not a visual mp, but a het mp. That explains why the animal looks like a raptor. The sunglow must have been het eclipse to get the raptor.

Hahahaha, "would not trust that breeder". That about sums it up. Slapping names on things does not a breeder make...

A "glow" refers to an Albino SHTCT (super hypo tangerine carrot tail)... An "Ember" is a Patternless Raptor (Tremper Eclipse).. So a glow ember to me would imply: a SHTCT Patternless Raptor

An Ember is a murphy patternless raptor (not to be confused with patternless stripe). This breeder is saying that he's crossing sunglows with embers to make ember glows. The problem is that the murphy patternless isn't visible in those animals which makes them sunglows het eclipse het mp. The one pictured above looks like a raptor that is probably het mp. An ember must have both mp, tremper, and eclipse all as visual morphs or it is not an ember.

I said an ember was a patternless raptor.. I agree you definately cant see the MP.. I thought this person was saying they had a Ember Glow. Not an Ember x Sunglow.. if that the case, you would be correct in saying Tremper sunglow het Eclipse/MP

A lot of people are confused by patternless because they assume the P in raptor is for MP instead of patternless stripe.

This breeder was called out months ago after someone bought an ember glow thinking it would be a visual ember. They were pretty upset. There is quite a bit of info on fauna and facebook.

Glow is now a term being thrown around a lot for no reason at all. For anyone looking to buy a glow (besides the normal sunglow, snowglow, etc) please make sure you ask the breeder what all the genetics are. That way you know what you are getting.
