Patternless Stripe or Reverse Stripe?

My latest eclipse! Was surprised with this one since both of the parents are banded.

Is he a patternless stripe or reverse stripe? My initial thought was patternless stripe, but that bit of color near the tail is throwing me off.

I would call it a patternless stripe since there's barely any marking there. The last patternless stripe I hatched had a very faint black reverse stripe running down the middle of the back that faded after a few sheds.

Cool! I didn't expect that. Now I just have to figure out if it is actually eclipse. I looked at him a bit closer today, and he has the markers (white nose and white on the legs) but the eyes don't look eclipse (granted, he is pretty tiny so it's hard to see). I'll try to get some pictures posted soon of what I mean, because I'm a little confused.

I tried, but I couldn't get any decent pictures of the eyes. He's just too tiny. I honestly can't tell. I feel like one of his eyes might have something to it, but the other doesn't at all. I suppose to only way to tell is to breed him to another eclipse?

EDIT: I took another really good look at him tonight using a flashlight. One eye is definitely totally normal. The other I am having quite a lot of trouble telling. The front half of the eye (towards the nose) looks like it might be darker than the back half (towards the body) but it's definitely not black like my other eclipses'. I have noticed that snake eyes always occur with the front half of the eye being black, so that sort of makes me think I'm not seeing things. The body pattern and color also looks pretty eclipse to me. But then again, it is so low expression in the eyes that I just can't tell!

Here is a picture of the nose, if that helps.

Give it some time for the gecko to grow. I have one that I'm also not sure about and it's now about 20 grams. Its clutch mate is definitely snake eyed, and I go back and forth from week to week about whether this one is as well.
Sorry, can't take a picture right now.

Hi, If both parents are Eclipse then the offspring must be Eclipse, it may be Abyssinian if there is no Eclipse pigment in the eye, but not sure if this name applies anymore.
