Whoa, that's awesome. So now I don't have to ask people on here who think they know the morph outcomes but are wrong.

it is very cool. it has a few quirks though especially when combining blizzard, patternless types of morphs with jungles and stripes. it will give you outcomes like 25% patternless stripes which you really can not tell if your patternless is a stripe or not. kinda odd but very nice for sure.

Hi All,

I'm Chris from Million Dollar Geckos, I wrote the morph calculator.

If anyone finds any problems with the leopard gecko morph calculator or any extra morphs that need adding or things not behaving quite how they should - send me a PM and I'll do what I can to sort it.

I am expecting people to find a few things not quite right - It's taken me about 4 months to write it and over 5000 lines of code... So, odds are I've made a mistake somewhere in all that :)

Anyway, as I say - any issues, feedback, problems, etc - send me a PM and I'll try to get things sorted as quickly as I can.

Thanks for the feedback so far - glad you all seem to like it.

Chris.

It says that breeding bold stripe to normals can occasionally give you jungles...? There has to be something wrong with that conclusion, or am I missing something?

I quite intentionally didnt put "Bold Stripe" anywhere on the pattern options. I make no differentiation between "Stripe" and "Bold Stripe". Basically my view being that although the polygenics involved are different, the behaviour is basically the same when crossing out to geckos that arent marked in a similar fashion.

If you cross a Striped pattern leo to a banded pattern leo, you are most likely going to get a quite wide array of patterning in the offspring. Some could potentially show some stripe characteristics... others are most likely going to be aberrant or jungle, due to the stripe becoming broken. Hence why the calc gives you the answer it does. Hope that makes sense?

Also for hets raptor would be nice.

:) I've had a couple of requests along these lines now. The problem is, you can be "het RAPTOR" in several different ways...

Eclipse Patternless-stripe, het Tremper Albino
Tremper Albino Patternless-stripe, het Eclipse
Normal Patternless stripe, het Tremper Albino, het Eclipse
.
.
.

to say "het RAPTOR" doesnt give you any idea as to which of the above your leo actually is... This is the reason I decided not to "translate" Tremper Albino Patternless-stripe het Eclipse, for example, into het RAPTOR. It hides from you what you're actually going to get... And I'd probably get shouted at about it by lots of people!! :D

Sunglow was one of the few morphs I hadnt put into the calculator.

"Officially" a Hybino is a Superhypo Albino... and a Sunglow is just a more tangerine version of a Hybino... So, you could do it that way. Alternatively, if people think Sunglow should go in of it's own accord, I'll add it :)
