Eclipse eyes/snake eyes

I thought there had to be a thread somewhere about this, but I couldnt find any. I know the eclipse gene is recessive, what I am trying to figure out is how snake eyes come about? If you breed a snake eye to a snake eye do you have less of a chance to produce eclipses than a snake eye to a eclipse, or an eclipse to and eclipse? Or is it total luck of the draw when it comes to eclipse/snake eyed?

Beat me to it :D i was just about to post your link.That seems to be the best way to see the result so far.By the look of the results the percentage of eclipse/ruby eyed seems pretty random.Does look as of yet that we'll be able to breed full ruby eye X full ruby eye or full eclipse X full eclipse and get 100% full ruby of eclipse offsping 100% of the time.but there maybe more to it.Never know lot can happen in a year some one may crack it ? .

thanks for the link:) So it looks as if 2 snake eyed eclipses stand just as good of a chance at producing eclipses as 2 fully eclipsed ones do. Thanks for the info guys

A bit of a tagent but i was wondering. Can Super snows be born with snake eyes?
I cant recall seeing any. I am aware the eclipse gene isnt involved here.

Just a thought

It's happen at least once to JMG rep's not sure if any one else has pulled it off.How or why this happened i would't know where to start.But here the pic in the link.
