Bell or Tremper?

I know it's easiest to tell by the eyes, but can anyone tell me how they can tell by coloration the difference between a bell and a tremper albino?
Thanks! :)

There's really no way for me to tell unless I see a picture of its eye. Bells and Trempers look practically identical as babies. I'd guess Bell, but I can't really tell.

Oh, dear.

As I and several others said in the other post (your husband's?), the baby looks Bell based on color/overall look. The eye shot wasn't clear enough to really tell. It's a sweet baby, but without a clear eye shot you're not going to get anything definitive. Actually, even then, you won't have a definitive answer, just some good guesses by other forum members both more and less experienced than yourself. I wish I could help you, but I'm just a novice myself.

I'm sorry. I hope you can get this one figured out, as it can't be easy for you not knowing which is the "dirty genetics" parent. Good luck.

My aim was to get someone to tell me Why it's color/overall look is bell? I had stated that I know its easiest to tell by the eyes, but people here seem to have a way of picking bell or tremper by color, and I want to know how. That is my only goal in this post. It has nothing to do with my husband's.

I can't speak for more experienced breeders, but I said it looked Bell based on the color of the darker bands. This is just me, and remember I'm just a noob in the world of leo genetics, but to me Bell babies' bands seem more chocolatey-nude toned, while trempers have a more peachy-nude tone.

Bell albinos tend to hold bold colors better than the other kinds of albino. The stripes on that one look darn and so it seems to be Bell. There is a TON of variation in color and looks based on genetics and incubation temperature making it super hard to tell based on looks alone. For example, Trempers that are incubated at the lower end of the temperature spectrum are also dark as hatchlings. Depending on where you got your gecko from it also could have more than one kind of albino expressed at the same time, making it impossible to tell which it is or if its both.
