Unknown Hets?

So out hatched a pair of eggs today. One turned out considerably lighter than the other. The mating was a normal x SHTCT, and I was told by both breeders that they had no hets, but the lighter one almost seems borderline albino lol. I can't currently get an eyeshot, as the little one is quite fast and I don't want to stress it too much since it just hatched. I was thinking "super hypo" when I saw it, but saw hatchling pics of my super hypo from last season, and today's baby is still lighter than last year's. The clutchmate also looks the same as last year's super hypo baby.

So any ideas on what the first one might be? Or do I have to simply play the waiting game?

The first one is lighter on coloration but not an albino.

You can't really have a "borderline albino". It either is or isn't. The lighter one wil most likely hypo out. Many geckos that will be superhypos are born with lighter bands.

I JUST read that SHTCT's will hatch with lighter bands that will fade. That might be what this little one will do.

I'm sure this one will be a SHTCT, but so was last year's hatchling from the same pair...although last year's didn't have as light of bands. Alex (last year's) is clearly a SHTCT and started out with dark brown bands when hatched...not black bands like this year's clutchmate, but clearly darker than Bonsai's (the very light banded SHTCT). Could it just be variation in the SHTCT?

Bonsai is still light as ever...and she just finished her 2nd shed. Just wondering if this little one could be anything other than a super hypo/hypo. Just looks different from the other hypos/super hypos I see as hatchlings.

I think she looks like a tang baby. Mine have hatched out with brown instead of black. The shade of brown can vary.
