I was practically given this lizard for free so i couldnt resist but I was told it was a Mack Snow het Raptor, Im almost 100% sure its not a mack snow but not sure about the het raptor, the closest ive come to identifying it was a eclispe trempered albino but not completely sure on that either. sorry for the quality of the pic, if needed i can upload a better one.

To me it looks as if it's yellowed up a bit early to be a Mack. If the breeder knows for sure that it was born with no yellow it would be a Mack snow. I have to say that I've produced some geckos from snow/non-snow pairings that were so pale yellow that I really wasn't sure if they were Macks or not. What makes you think it's eclipse? Does it have ruby eyes or snake eyes, or did you mean that it's het eclipse?

nope eyes are normal so that takes the eclipse out of the equation, so r u saying that after it gets older there is a possibility the yellow would go away and that will tell me that it is in fact a mack snow?

The yellow will increase, yes, but the only way to tell if it's a mack snow is by 1) knowing the pairing and 2) seeing it as a brand new hatchling. Mack snows are born white instead of yellow, and then yellow up over time

Glad to see him looking more grown up! Pretty guy!!

He definitely looks like a Tremper albino, possibly snow and het for eclipse (based on what the breeder says as its impossible to know about recessive hets otherwise. Mack snows don't look more snowy as they get older but the opposite, it gets harder to tell as they age. If snows are from super yellow lines sometimes they color up a bit earlier but that guy does look a bit too yellow too early to be snow but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Only way to know for sure would be to test breed him to a known non-snow and see if any snow babies pop out.

I actually paired him with a sunglow (tremper albino) so would there be any chance at that point that a snow baby would appear? thanks so much for the help.
