My new boy. He is about 3-4 years old. I think he is just a normal, but he is quite bright yellow and has brown spots instead of black, so I want to see what you guys think as to the type. He is eating like a champ and roaming through his tank rubbing his bum on everything :main_laugh: so I am pretty sure he is comfortable. He definitely has a personality and does not mind being handled. I am thinking he could use a bit of fattening up. What do you think?

Thank you

It's hard to see his tail. The spotting pattern on his back suggests he's aberrent (broken body bands). You could call him a high yellow. I find that some geckos who are not albinos seem to have brownish as opposed to black spotting.

I think the tail was originally banded, though it's hard to tell. I agree that it does look as though it could use some weight gain.

Thank you. I am working on fattening him up. I think he was mostly fed mealworms and not much else. Since I started offering a variety of feeders including home grown silkworms, he has snubbed mealworms completely.:main_laugh:
