Hi,
I recently met this little one. I only have one leo so I don't consider myself to have much experience with them. I am looking for a safe plan for him/her to gain weight?

Housed in 30 gallon tank and devours bugs when fed. Thats all I know. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1408754697.514191.jpg

No. I can try and get it, but the gecko is not handled. The tail is a little bulb. Its skin and bones.

I have very little experience with leos.

I would keep it on a diet of at least 6 crickets or an equivalent amount of mealworms(someones assistance here), just let him eat till he doesn't show interest. I'm not an expert. I have only had my gecko for a few weeks, but I have done a TON of research.

I'd definitely recommend a vet check him out. If he has any parasites you won't combat the weight issue no matter how well he is taking food or being fed.

Typically with long-term weight issues in reptiles (I don't consider 'stress' long term, if it is then it falls under mistreatment) , if it isn't mistreatment, it's parasites.
