Shedding Issure

I have an 12 year old gecko that recently shed but some skin is stuck to her head and eyelid but I can't get it off.

I tried soaking it with warm water using a qtip and i was able to get some of it off but the part I'm most concerned about is on her eyelid and I don't want to injure her trying to remove it.

I've never hd this problem before and its frustrating me. Will it come off naturally during her next shed or am I going to have to bust out the tweezers?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I would try a gecko sauna every 24-48 hours for a week or so before trying to get it off with tweezers as it is in a sensitive and easily damaged area. Just get a 3-4 cup tupperware and put 1/2 inch or a sopping wet paper towel soaked with 90 degree water in it. Put the gecko inside and close it for 10-15 minutes. The humidity in the enclosed space should loosen the shed enough for her to get it off on her own. I'd also make sure you have her on a good vitamin supplement like Repashy Calcium Plus.

Glad it worked! Will this work with a toe that has skin stuck to it?

(Edit: I did a warm water soak and it worked on his toe, but I will remember the sauna in case a time comes skin is stuck in a place that I can't soak. Thanks!)
