I'd go with Pangea. Most fair and realistic place I've found, as it's $4.99 flat rate shipping so you can get your flexwatt, some connections, and other supplies and they ship it for $4.99

I use a Helix and love it. It is kind of expensive new ($130-140), but I got both of mine used and they work great. Just make sure if you go used off Craigslist or the like they are still in good working order. Nice thing about Helix is you can order new probes and things from the company as needed.

I have heard that warm soaks, and keeping them on moist paper towels will help.
