Questions on Weight and Eyesight

First off, my 7 month old L'Oreal is 70 grams. She is healthy, doesn't overeat, belly doesn't drag on the ground, gets plenty of exercise. This just seems a lot at 7 months of age. What do you think? In the pics she is the all spotted one. I asked the breeder if she could be a super or a giant and the breeder said no.
Annie is 44 grams at 8 months of age and she does eat but it takes her at least 7 or more tries to catch a mealworm or a dubia roach even if they aren't moving at the time. She keeps missing even when right in front of her face. Sometimes she finally catches them but sometimes she just gives up and walks away. This makes me sad to see. I try to help her sometimes just so I know she at least was able to eat something. Is poor eyesight a leopard gecko issue?

Annie is in the first pic then L'Oreal is in the second pic and they are both side by side in the last pic.
Thank you all.

Welcome to GF. THey both look healthy. Some geckos, even if they're not giants, just get bigger than others. I once had a 3 month old that was 51 grams but not a giant. Some geckos just seem to be lousy hunters. I don't know why. Often the really bad hunters do best with super worms because they move more than mealworms, are bigger, but not as fast as crickets.

I've also noticed my geckos are worse at hunting when they aren't really hungry. Given that yours look to be a very healthy weight, it's possible they just aren't trying very hard either. :)

that could be, thanks I was hoping they were at a healthy weight because they act and look healthy to me so I just wanted to make sure L'Oreal wasn't overweight but she just might be a larger gecko than others.

I have a 10 month and she's always between 75-80. Her belly doesn't drag either and I take her out every other day for about 10-15 to exercise on the couch. She walks back and forth and climbs up and down. She has been strictly on a mealworm diet and eats every other day.
