How much should I be feeding?

Hey guys, It's me again. I was wondering how much I am supposed to feed my 8-9 month old gecko? I've seen that some people only feed 3-4 small crickets every other day on here, but Pepin eats 10-12 small crickets every other day. He poops just fine, and I feed until he's decided he's had enough and crawls back into his hide for a nap. Am I feeding him too much?

The way I do it is, I'll feed them as much as they will eat for 15 minutes, and I do that every other day, unless they are breeding females

I just go by body condition. I feed as much as they want unless they start getting fat. Then I reduce how much I feed. It's very individual for each gecko, so no one can tell you "feed exactly this much this often".

I agree with Neon - I go by chunkiness. I check out each gecko when I'm feeding. Those that are super chunky get just a few (like 5) mealworms or even skipped over if they're super fat. Those that are an okay weight get a 10-15 mealworm meal. I feed full grown adults once a week when they're not breeding and babies get fed 2-3 times a week depending on how big they are. During the breeding season females get fed twice a week if they're laying eggs.
