What the heck should I weigh my gecko on?

I've got a bathroom scale, of course, but that just doesn't cut it for my gecko, who needs to be weighed in grams.
the only thing I can think of that would work is the candy weigher at a candy store, and I can't very well go there and stick her on, can I?

What do you breeders use?

Haha!! I use a postal scale. You can buy them at Wal-Mart for $10 or so. Just make sure when you buy it that it can switch to grams and that it also has a "tare" button. ("Tare" lets you put the leo in something when you weigh it. What happens is: you can turn on the scale, set it to weigh in grams, put a tupperware or something to hold the leo on it, press tare (and the weight will go back to zero), put your leo in, and bingo! you've got your weight! This is also so that you don't have to weigh the container first and then subtract it from the total weight.) Hope this helped!! Best Wishes and Good Luck!!

You can buy digital scales online also I got a really nice kitchen scale that whighs in pounds,grams, ounces, of ebay. I needed a bigger one because I also have snakes,bearded dragons,and iguanas.

Hmmm, okay.

Though I try to make a point not to shop at walmart....hmm....Especially since there isn't really a super low price option. But it can wait.

I could try the food scale at safeway.

I got my scale off of EBAY as well. There are so many to choose from there, you can really find one that will suit your needs perfectly. I recommend getting a digital scale no matter where you buy it from.

EBAY! Yeah, good idea. I don't have it personally, but my uncle does, and I could probably ask him to get one for me....

Make sure you check out the size of the plate....some of those scales are TINY!

I bought a decent kitchen scale that does grams ounces and pounds at Wal-Mart for about $30 and it has a nice large tray on it so i can weigh my Blueys and Dragons too
The brand is Good Cook and it is in the housewares section
I have to shop at Wal-Mat where I live-there is no other large discount store in this town
