Are they smart enough to sence to cold?

Just wondering if a gecko knows enough to move in and out of the cold and hot areas of a cage. For example i know some spots in my cage will go down to 66 (my room temp) but there are areas in cage that i know hit 95. Will they know to move around?

Of course! And it's always best to have a temperature gradient.
