I have like a year old blizzard male. His shed has not come off of his body, and it's been about a week and a half. There is a humid hide and it's about 94 degrees on the hot side, 75 degrees on the cool side.

Is this normal? If not, what should I do.

Thanks in advance.

you can give him a luke warm bath to try and loosen some of it up for him... be careful don't pull it off as you may hurt him but you can help him a little I know sometimes some mineral oil and a q-tip helps me assist with bad sheds.

Glad to hear that the bath worked, next time make sure the humid hide is very humid, my leo's past few sheds have been poor so the last time i soaked the humid hide everynight to make sure she shed ok and she shed perfectly. Once again glad to hear everything is fine.

I would not wait a week and a half to remove shed.By that time his toes are going to fall off due to the shed cutting off circulation to the toes
