Welcome to GF!
Here are a few suggestions:
-ditch the sand, especially if they're not adults. Some people do use it with adults but there is always danger of impaction. If you want a deserty equivalent, get slightly textured beige ceramic tile from Home Depot or similar store.
-if you're measuring 85 on the hot side floor, it needs to be a bit hotter (low 90's). If you're measuring it in the air, it's probably too hot.
-The lights are fine, but you don't need them

Enjoy your geckos.

I dont think you really need a UVA and UVB at all either. They get a lot of their stuff from supplementing. Also they are nocturnal so they will never use the UVA or UVB lighting. Its best to just get normal white light and a normal red light that doesn't give off heat at all. If you are looking for a natural substrate to put int he cage that is more eye appealing, try eco earth. I use that with mine and have no issue with impaction. If even they do eat some of the eco earth, the eco earth breaks down in water, so in stomach acid it would be broken down easily.
