I highly suggest you do not use aspen bedding for your gecko. There is no reason to risk your gecko ingesting some and becoming impacted. May I suggest Tile, Paper Towel, or even Reptile Carpet

Some people do, but we highly recommend against using loose bedding, its much safer to use solid bedding.

I would think the pieces of aspen would especially be risky if they get ingested. They can bunch together very easily and can be in pretty big shavings compared to a little gecko. I would say please not.
