How many geckos in a 55 gallon?

I'm planning on dividing up my 55 gallon tank, and was wondering approximately how many geckos can fit comfortably. I planned on adding 3 dividers, so 4 geckos will each has 13.75 gallons to themselves. But I feel it's too small. What would your suggestions be to divide it up?

It's more than just the gallons because the geckos only use the floor space. THink of it this way:
a 10 gallon (considered barely adequate for 1 gecko) has 200 sq. inches of floor space
a 20 gallon long (for 1-2 geckos) has 360 sq. inches of floor space

Figure out how many square inches of floor space each gecko would have and compare to the above. Also, it's best if possible if the floor space is more rectangular than square (for smaller sizes) so it's more possible to achieve a heat gradient. If you're talking about hatchlings, that's a different matter altogether because they're a lot smaller.
