In the wild, leopard geckos probably get a small amount of UV at dusk and dawn. They need a small amount, but a more reliable way to provide the D3 that they get from the UV is to be sure to supply D3 as a supplement by dusting feeders every other time.
ok, thanks. Thats what I thought, but recently I've been planning on getting another reptile that does need UVB, and I just couldn't remember if Leo's needed them XD Other sites online weren't clear
