So far I haven't seen anyone say that they have had their leos fight or go at each other, but I just want to make sure. I have two geckos that I eventually want to put together, but they aren't around the same size yet. I was just wondering if I should put the one in the tank and just leave him/her or slowly introduce them to each other so no problems occur? (I have one female and the other one is only 4 months)

How old is your female? You probably shouldn't put juvs with adults which could cause bullying and make the smaller leopard gecko not eat.

When the small one gets older and is more the size of the adult, do a thorough cleaning of the tank you want to put both of them in to remove or reduce the smell of the first one. Make sure you have plenty of choices of hide and that the tank is at least a 20 gallon long. Put them together and watch them for awhile. If all goes well after, say, an hour, leave them for the night and see how they are in the morning (or else check on them periodically). If all doesn't go well, you can consider trying a re-introduction in a few weeks, or just keep them separate. Even if all goes well, keep an eye on them and watch for: scratch marks on one of them; one gecko losing weight; one gecko constantly sitting on the other: those are signs of bullying and you would have to separate them.

Okay, thanks so much! I already have a 30 gallon tank with a second story and a couple hides for my female, so that seems to fit what I need. I definitely won't be putting them together anytime soon, atleast not until the little one is a year.

Well first you need to wait till you find out what sex the other is.. If it turns out to be male I would not reccomend housing them together unless your trying to breed. If its a female you can attempt to house them together if there about the same size and there is plenty of room and hides. Even female can and will bully other females so be prepared to seperate them..
