View attachment 21343 This is the setup I have right now.Ive placed the moist moss in the rock cave on the far right side.Is that hide enclosed enough to retain the proper humidity? It has two "windows" so i wasnt sure. And I know that the sand can cause impaction so at night when we feed,we block off the "beach" and put the crix in on the carpeted side.Any suggestions?

Can you post a larger pic? Kind of hard to see much. Looks good from what I can see though

The humidity hide should be ok as long as you make sure to keep it moist. You could use a tupperware container and paint it to look like a rock. Sorry, I didn't read the sand part when I replied earlier, nor did I see it in the pic. I'd just get rid of the sand altogether. You never know what could happen, and it's better safe then sorry. Yea, sand looks rad in a leo tank, but tile looks just as cool.

I would get rid of the sand but is there a better alt than tile? I just want them to have a nice soft comfortable floor.

You can use reptile carpet or paper towel for a little cushion, but there is no way to make it soft since the bottom of the tank is glass. They don't need a soft floor. They will be just fine on tile or slate

I cant help myself....All of our pets are spoiled rotten (our dog has a heated bed) and I want to make sure they have some place comfortable to sleep at least. I suppose I could go with tile and then put some paper towel and moss in there hide boxes....

Other than the substrate, does anything else look unsafe? She climbs on the waterfall and I was afraid she might fall but so far she seems to navigate it just fine and seems to enjoy climbing up and looking around.

Haha, I understand. I wasn't putting you down. I feel the same way. I was tempted to use memory foam in Presley's tank ;)

Nope, looks good to me. As long as her climbing tree and waterfall has a solid base and doesnt topple easily she should be ok

Looks like a great home. I, too, would give up the sand. I know it looks good, but the thought of a slow, painful death just for looks is very sad. Your lizards will thank you in the long run.

Both the tree and the waterfall are very sturdy. There was a spot at the top of the tree that formed a little V so I tapped it off so she wouldnt get a leg stuck when "tree diving".
