97 degrees for me... The hotter you keep the hot end, the more naturally your leos will behave... They will also eat more and metabolize their food intake better and more efficiently...

I have had days when the hot side was 100 degrees... My geckos did not burn or melt or go up into flames... LOL

LOL.

I keep my temps about the same. 97-98 ish.

I keep the hot side at 90-93 F, using an on/off thermostat. When it accidentally goes to 100 F, because the probe occasionally gets knocked out of place, I've seen my geckos walking across the hot side on their tip-toes...not their normal belly-lounging. They give me pretty good hints.

I provide ambient air temps on the hot side in the mid to high 90'sF and a daytime basking surface of 105F-110F.

At night everything drops to room temp which depending on time of year is 65F-90F.

Temperatures on my "hot" side vary a fair bit.

lowest would be around 87F and I have a couple of basking spots that touch just over 100F which my Leo uses regularly.
