Actually using Eco Earth in mine. When set up right, itll stay moist for a few days and then all I gotta do is water it.
But im actually thinking of going to Moss or Paper. Not sure right now.

for my males i use about an inch of sphagnum moss. for my females, i use a two inch deep sphagnum-perlite mix so that they have something more substantial to dig and lay their eggs in. it creates a somewhat compacted, but easily diggable substrate :)

I went with eco earth, seems to work great when u don't feed crickets, one time I did and a couple crickets ran and couldn't find d them, after some time I noticed a bunch of baby crickets everywhere and saw the were coming out of the eco earth in the humid hide. The crickets that got hid laid eggs in the eco earth and with it being under heat, it incubated the eggs. Lol
