I know this is a matter of personal opinion for the most part, but I was wondering what is a reasonable size for a tub size for a rack system, is the 15 or 16 quart too small, or should I go with 28 quart? What size/ brand do all you guys use?

EDIT: Sorry I meant to be more specific...but I was at work...was trying to be quick :) It's for ADULT Leo's

i looked at different size tubs for a rack for forever. i always thought the 15 and 16 qt ones were just barely too small for me to feel comfortable putting a gecko in for its entire life. the 28 quarts are huge with plenty of room. but i didn't want an enormous rack for just a few geckos. i finally decided to spend the extra money on getting these: http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...ners/-/large-exo-terra-reptile-den-flat-home/

they are 18" x 11.5" x 5.5" without the lid on. they are completely clear and look great even in a rack system. they are pricy though, so depending on how much money you plan on spending on the tubs, this might not be a good fit for you.

It depends what you want to do with the rack. If it is a hatchling rack then 6 quarts. If it is a adult rack 15 qts. If it is a breeders rack 28 qts. I use these sizes for my collection. The 15 and 6 qt one is rubbermaid and the 28 qt is sterlite. You could do 15 qt breeder tubs if you are doing only a pair and not keeping them together the whole season but 28 qts give them more room and to can do more females to males in that situation. Also 28 qts can house 3-5 females, instead of having an individual tub for all the adults. I've head that iris is really good too.

I use Iris Shoeboxes (6 qts) Tubs for hatchlings/juvies & I am in the process of switching over my adults from Rubbermaid 15 qts tubs, into Vision V-18 Hatchling Tubs.

i really like the container store tubs that are the same height so they both fit in 1 rack they come in 15 quart and 30 the models are mens shoe box and boot box. they are a reasonable price also. otherwise my adults are in iris sweaterbox's.
