Gecko Seems to Dislike Supplements

When I feed my gecko plain mealworms he gobbles them up like no other. However, when they are dusted with multivitamin and calcium+D3 he seems to hate it and it takes a lot more to get it down. I really want to stress that he gets his nutrients especially since I just got him from the pet store where I assume they don't dust the food. Is this maybe just cause it's new and it'll take some getting used to?

I am having the same problem he hates his coatings . My Leo has also taken a dislike to crickets so it's mealworms only.

Any change in diet can take time for the gecko to become use to. Just be patient. When they get hungry enough..... they will eat.

Thanks! I just fed him 3 mealworms, two covered in calcium and one plain...didn't seem to have a problem. Might be adjusting still and whatnot. I forgot how patient this hobby is!
