I bought a leopard gecko about 2-1/2 weeks ago. Since then I've been itching like crazy on my arms & legs. I mean BAD. The only thing I can figure is maybe the mealworms? They're in a container in the fridge, and lately I've been using a spoon to put them in my leos dish rather than handling them with bare hands. Anybody else run into this??
If it is the mealies, is it merely their presence, or is it physical contact with them? If I keep using the spoon to dispense them, will that work, or do I just have to go with an alternative food source - and if so, what, other than crickets, should I use?
