So my juvenile(baby?) gecko eats just fine, but he won't eat from his food bowl, he only eats his meal worms by hand. I even got one of those repti mealworm feeders that they drop down from but he still doesn't seem to like it. Is this normal? I mean he eats alot if I feed it to him but if I put it in his bowl then no dice.

Some young geckos have trouble figuring out the food bowl. You can try holding the mealworm above the food bowl and then dropping it into the bowl once he gets interested. I have one hatchling that just couldn't get it and wasn't growing. Eventually I switched to crickets and now she's an eating champ on her own!
