Freeze Dried Mealworms?

Has anyone tried the freeze dried mealworms? They look just like live mealworms except they arent live. I thought maybe if you jiggled them around a little you could trick your gecko (unless they are really picky). Has anyone tried these? Also, what would you say the nutritional value is in them? (Prob not as good as a live mealworm.)

Just a thought since the mealworm shortage is making is almost impossible to find mealies for my geckos and turtles...

Thanks! :)

I just got some for the first time since I couldn't find any live ones. I've seen one of my geckos eat it. Not sure how much she liked it, but I would think that they aren't as healthy as live ones of live crickets.

i never even thought of using them cuz mine is so picky. it has to be very wiggley in order for her to eat it...she stares at it for a couple of seconds after it catches her attention.. and if the mealie stops moving she turns away..

Mine does that too, that's why I was surprised when I saw her eat one.
