It may be a ventilation issue then. Feeders die off quickly/ do not thrive without ample air circulation. Maybe use a hot glue gun to put holes in the back of your drawers

Hmm
There is about a 1/4 inch gap all around the thing so I don’t think its that. I pulled the drawer out 3 inches though for now.

That's odd. Right now I keep my supers in a plastic container with holes in the top. They're fine! But my giant meal worms don't seem to be doing so well. Someone mentioned that they don't pupate. Well I can attest that they DO pupate. I just threw out four of them. But the others appear to be sluggish or not moving at all. I don't know if it's too cold for them in my basement (usually around 62-70 degrees) or if they aren't getting enough air flow or what. The smaller mealies I used to have were thriving! I even had beetles but then I opened up the container one morning and everything had mold on it. >.<

I didn't realize they were sprayed with a growth hormone though. :\ Tiamat refuses to eat anything smaller than her now so I doubt if she'd pay any attention to the regular sized ones. But she loves her mealies. And if Tiamat gets a little big from the hormone I won't mind - I'm thinking about getting a giant anyway. :p

Hmm... Well all I can do is hope that the ones still alive will make it.

If they do pupate the beetles will be no good (cant make babies =P)

Well that's fine. I'm not interested in colonizing anyway. I'll get some new worms next time I'm out then. This time I'll get the smaller tub. lol

And I'm envious of your giant-recieving-skillz. lol
