You know I love it. For the sake of anyone reading, I use it as my sole supplement, dusting at every feeding.

I have used it for the last year. It is one of the things I changed around a bit that I think contributed to a hugely successful breeding season last year.

I love it too. Had a female that was having trouble getting weight back on after breeding last year so I ordered some and within a couple of weeks she was almost back up to her weight before breeding her. She had not put on any weight for 2 months before I started feeding her Ca Plus and after I started her colour picked up again and she started gaining weight. I have not noted any significant weight loss with any of my females this year that are breeding. Plus it took the entire dust with Ca today, Vit tomorrow, Ca + D3 the day after tomorrow right out the door. Every feeding it just one dusting. I have not done it yet but Tony has been told by Allen that if your feeding with Ca Plus ICB you can remove your calcium dishes because they will be getting all they need in Ca Plus.

This is what I've been using as well with each feeding. But being new to Leopard Geckos and doing as much reading as I can, am starting to be concerned. Seems like everything I read states not to use Calcium with D3 in it everyday, but this contains D3. Has anyone had issues because of this?

Thanks,

Brian

Allen has formulated it so that it is not harmful for over dosing your gecko

I've been using it for over a year now and love it. My favorite thing about it is how well it sticks to the feeders. I still use repcal for my babies and egg laying females, but that's it. I mostly just use the calcium plus.

Yes.... it's an "all in one" you use to dust your feeders. From what I have read it was made to be a daily ( or if you feed every other day..ect ) of everything that is needed and includes the other essentials for best color too. Basically...... it's a No- overdose -daily formula that was developed with input from some of the most knowledgeable people.

From what I understand it also helps feeding because it has a smell ( or taste ) that is well liked also.

I just started using it today on the Noraml and will start tomorrow with the Bold Stripe.

I can say the Bold Stripe I received today that was raised on it looks amazing as far as color goes. ( what little time I saw her before she went into her hide to get her 24 hour..... leave me alone time...lol )

I'm gonna get that stuff tho tomorrow when i go to the store. Hopefully it sticks to the feeders as good as I've heard it does.

You can dust mealworms or superworms and it sticks to it for days. When I leave on Friday for the weekends I dust the worms and place them in the gecko's dish, come back sunday night and the worms are still coated with the Calcium Plus Powder.

If you are referring to the Calcium Plus marketed by TREX as far as I know it is all the same product, just labelled differently for marketing purposes.

You are correct, all the different species labels are just for marketing. As long as it says "Calcium Plus ICB" somewhere on the label it is the right stuff.
