Soo, I figured out how to make a Calcium Supplement at home, fairly easily.
You just need Eggshells from Chicken Eggs. The eggshell is pretty much pure Calcium Carbonate, along with small trace amounts of other elements.
Step 1 - Collect your eggshells, clean them out, and remove the membrane.
Step 2 - Put your eggshells in boiling water for about 5 minutes.
Step 3 - Remove the eggshells from the boiling water, and stick them in the microwave for about 4-5 minutes.
Step 4 - Remove the eggshells from the microwave, and place them in a Zip-Loc Bag.
Step 5 - Start crushing the eggshells with your hammer or rolling pin. Try to make it as fine as possible. It may take a while to get the right consistency.
Step 6 - Make sure your eggshell has a consistency of flour.
Step 7 - Give to your gecko!
