I recently decided to try repashey calcium plus all in one as my daily supplement after reading all of the great reviews on it. I dusted with it for the 3 days and my Leo's ate little to nothing when it is on the mealies. Last night I went to none dusted mealies and they all went back to their heavy / normal feeding habit. They do just fine on regular calcium and vitamin dustings but they do not like the repashey at all. Any advice to make the switch would be greatly appreciated!

They are just used to a different taste.Try getting them good and hungry and keep on with the plus powder. If you dont give in they will eat the plus powdered prey when they get hungry enough.

Good luck! My little guy DEVOURS his crickets dusted with the Rephashy Calcium Plus. He didn't like it at first either, but the only food I would give him was dusted with it. After a couple of days he started eating again.

Thats kind of what I was hoping to hear. Thanks for sharing. I really didnt think they would starve over the change. I just needed a bit more of a booster to keep pushing it on them.

Rango was the same way, no interest in rephashy at first because of the smell(smells like bananas..) but once she started eating them there was no stopping her. Took me a few days.

Just keep pushing it on them. Don't give them ANYTHING that doesn't have it on there. Once they start eating with it on there, they have HUGE appetites. I know this because my leo ate, but wasn't a really good eater. Then I started with the Repashy and now he eats like a little pig!

Too funny! I'm having the same issue my girl Annie ate 10 mealies and 5 crickets for 4 days in a row. I just got the calcium plus today and she only ate 2 mealies and 2 crickets and has been sleeping in her warm hide all day.

Happy to hear everyone has gone through this. I was thinking the worse.

Today was day 5 and they were all out eating today. Finally....shew . Our youngest female had not come out of her hide for the whole time. Tonight she has eaten and is all over the place. Same goes for the rest of them. Once they took the dive it was on. Took a bit but I think they might really like it now. I was just looking for something complete to give them other than the recipe I was using. It should be much easier now as well as better for them to. Thanks for the input and encouragement to move on with it. I am good to go now I think.

After barely eating for 24 hours Annie didn't care and ate 12 dusted items. 5 crickets and 7 supers/mealies with Repashy on all of them.

I've been using tongs for the crickets so they don't stress her out or run around everywhere. I drop them in front of her so she gets a little hunting in during dinner.

this may sound dumb but how do you dust mealies and superworms

I do it in a plastic container that has a lid. Put in a tiny bit of Repashy Calcium Plus powder. Put in the bugs. Close the lid. Shake and swirl the container around lightly. Don't shake too hard or you'll get a puff of the calcium powder when you open the container. That's it.

Repashy Calcium Plus sticks to everything I have tried: mealworms, silkworms, dubias, crickets, and waxworms.

Does anyone know where to get bigger tub of it I bought a second one but it's expensive for the small amount you get.

Reptical has a huge one available for almost the same price but is like to stick with Repashy since its working wonderfully.
